You can wire a switch between the fuse and the fuse holder so that you can flip a switch instead of pulling the fuse.

I did an exhaustive search a few months ago to answer this same question for my 05 Vue V-6. There was a wide variety of "opinions" and no concrete answer. Saturn dealers even have conflicting "bulletins" about what should be done to tow!

The most believable answer is that you MAY eventually run the battery down if you don't pull the 30amp IGN fuse from the under hood fusebox. That proceedure is different for the prior model years.

I use a US GEAR brake system which provides a trickle charge to the car's battery due to their system running a vacuum pump to assist the toads brakes. I don't always bother to pull the fuse, and have not killed the battery (yet) .

I am planning to install a switch as Gary said, because I'm afraid frequently pulling the fuse improves the chances I will break something, besides it is a PITA. Good luck and I hope this rambling "answer" is helpful. ED
