2007 Ford Edge towcar

I have an extra car because I am selling my townhouse in Ma. I have a 2007 Edge and a 2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx. The Ford already is set up with a tow system using a roadmaster 10,000 lb all terriane tow bar but my Malibu has no tow system on it. Because of the great mileage i get on the chevy and because it is lighter, I think i will keep the Chevy. Any thoughts on this and can anyone suggest the best way to sell a tow car. Also I want to equip the Malibu with a demco or blue ox lighter duty system.

Any thoughts or ideas.

You could place it for sale in our Classifieds section. It's free & would get a great deal of exposure.

Oh, & welome to iRV2.

I've been curious how the Edge would work as a toad ...don't know that the rear seat configuration would work as well as my Honda Odyssey for carrying my recumbent bicycles, but it is a good looking vehicle. Have you towed the Edge much? ...and how do you like it for towing?

I've towed my Edge over 18K miles with absolutely no problems.
Hint:
Rather than turn the key back as described in the manual, turn it back all the way when in Neutral. The steering is still unlocked and you can't remove the key but it cuts out any electrical drain just as if you turned the key back to remove it.
