2007 jeep grand cherokee towing

Hello everyone, I have a 2007 jeep grand cherokee with the trail rated package (which allows the transfer case to be in N). My question is right before my trip I was told that this jeep can't be towed with 2 wheels up on a tow dolly, which I already own. Does this vechicle have to be towed with all 4 wheels on the ground? Please help,

A 4 wheel drive cherokee is perfect for towing----4 down. To put the transfer case in neutral disconnects the transmission, but still leaves the link between front and rear axles. To tow with two wheels locked on the dolly and two wheels rolling, well, it wouldn't be pretty. Sell the dolly and use the money to buy a baseplate and tow bar to pull the Jeep 4 down, or choose another vehicle to tow on the dolly.

If you have the Quadra-Track system all 4 wheels need to turn at the same rate. That T/case will not even tolerate, newer tires on one axle than on the other, you have to install 4 new tires to keep the T/case cool.
Best info would be in your owners manual. If you have lost it , would be worth downloading a new one.

I agree with BFlinn181... we also have a Jeep grand Cherokee 2011 we actually bought it for towing and we tow just like 181 said.it's easy , we actually had a story from the car salemans that his grandparents RV and towed and they almost got a divorce over a tow dolley due to running one of the tire's off ,so to me the way we tow is so simple no hassle and pulling all 4 on the ground. good luck what ever u do.
