Just brought a K2500 CC/SB home today with intentions of using it as daily driver and toad/golf cart carrier...

It has 245/70 street treads on it which have to go....

I'm thinking bigger tires with RWL's but don't want to sing to the tire music or get beat to death...
Any ideas?

Why, Bob? You don't like the looks or what? Is it just the RWLs you are looking for?

Tell us what you are trying to achieve and maybe somebody will have an opinion on a replacement.

I bought Wrangler 265/75/16's today.....my buddy and I went up there and spoke to the folks,it will raise my truck 1.1 inches which is within tolerance for the tow bar.

I was trying to get a little bigger (and RWL) tire to fill up the wheel wells...

That 1.1" raise is equal to 1.1" radius or 2.2" diameter, which also increases the circumference of the tire tread.

Caution: This increased in tire diameter will affect your speedometer. The speedometer will register a lower speed than your acutal road speed.

If you have a GPS on your laptop that shows road speed, You could check it against your speedometer.

I use Delorme and have found that it is right on with the coach speedometer or is that the speedometer is correct with the Delorme.

Anyway, both are accurate.
