I'm getting interested in the new GMC Denalis and am starting to think about selling our current '08. In the past, I have typically traded in my vehicles to the dealer with whom I'm buying the new vehicle. Has anyone had any experience trading in vehicles that have been prepared for TOAD service? Are there good listing services to feature the vehicle online? I'm not a fan of craigs list, so would prefer staying with more mainstream, focused listing services. Thanks for any suggestions.

Look at the top of the page just below the photo, you'll see a category called, "Classifieds." Seems like putting an ad for a vehicle to tow behind an RV would be something other RV owners might be interested in viewing.

I traded my '04 Yukon XL for a new '08 Yukon XL and the dealer asked what about the baseplate. I told them I didn't want it. No problem.

Also the fact that it was a toad did not matter.

Thanks. I'm guessing the dealer won't recognize any value for the tow equipment investment - I'll take some pictures and get it posted soon.

I traded two toads and the dealer couldn't care less. I think that most of the time these trade ins get wholesaled to auction houses.

Does anyone have any experience with converting/towing the new suburbans/yukons/escalades?

My all wheel drive 2014 Escalade ESV, can not be towed 4 wheels down nor could my 2008. My 2004 GMC Denali XL all wheel drive could with a transmission lube pump allegedly, I state allegedly because it caught on fire in 2012 on the interstate and originated in the Denali while going down the interstate. I was unable to get disconnected before it melted the fiberglass end cap and burned up the coach also.

I think the 2015 GMC Denali may have an option for this but I have not confirmed myself.
