2012 Chevy Cruze Blue Ox installation question

All this is totally new to us, so if it sounds iike a stupid questioin, it is.

Anyway, we just purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruze RS. It was our best choice for a toad, and seems like a nice little car.

The question is: Blue Ox indicates that the baseplate is mounted just behind the lowest of the three grill openings, and will require some trimming of that grill. BUT, the radiator, and condensor are located directly behind the grill, and I can't figure out just how this thing is going to work.

I won't be installing it myself, and will have a Blue Ox dealer install it for me, but I would just like to understand all what is involved, so that I can have a semi-intelligent conversation with the dealer.

Thanks for any advice and/or insight you may have to offer.
