I'm buying a 2012 Explorer and looking to anyone that has one set to be towed.
-- Any lessons learned with roadmaster brackets?
-- Has anyone successfully used diodes for lighting? If so how and where were they installed?
-- Has anyone installed the SMI Air Force One system? If so, how and where were did you install the controlled?

Any lessons learned from towing wheels down?

Thanks in advance?

The G-Force controller will install on the left side kick panel. The control head will install under the hood. there could be several options.

You might want to call SMI and ask one of the guys where they prefer to install the control box on Explorers. They will share that info with you.

Under the hood is looking a bit tight. Where under the hood? In the 2011 Grand Cherokee I had, I mounted it in the wheel well under the lining.
