2012 honda crv charge wire

I want to install a charge wir to keep battery charged
1 Casn i just rum one wire off coach battery from pos to the pos of the honda or do I need two wires one from pos and one from neg Or does it have to come from starting battery?

Please let me know how you did it and what i will need to do it. Any wiring dig would be a great help. I and using an even brake unit and do not want to have a dead battery. Ken

Ken yes just run a #10 or 12 wire from the coach battery to the toad battery with a 15 or 20 A fuse or auto reset relay fuse 15 or 20, the ground should alredy be run with the coach lights cost less than $20 or you can buy a kit cant remember the name but it cost a bit more.

Google "Toad Charge" and you will get information on a system that will protect both your motorhome and your car.

Toad-Charge Towed Vehicle Battery Charger & Maintainer Kit - RV Power Supply

Other home made versions are much less expensive but persons like me are not comfortable with electrical so we take this route. The device that monitors for over charging seemed important to me. I did modify the method of connecting the vehicles together finding the ones in the kit a bit flimsy.

Money well spent for me I have not worried about my battery since.
