I'll let the experts provide final opinions, but generally speaking, RWD requires either a driveshaft disconnect or a trailer.

Generally speaking yes. If it has a selectable transfer case that allows you to put it in neutral (while the transmission stays in park). But I do not have direct experience with Tahoes, so take that with a grain of salt.
