2013 Enclave engine light and burning smell

Hi
I just towed my 2013 Buick Enclave about 90 miles behind 2015 DSDP.
After I unhooked it parked RV and headed home the engine light stayed on and I could smell a oily burning smell.
I think I followed instructions correctly.
Pulled 3 fuses
Tranny in N
Key in acc.
I towed in once before albeit for only 30 miles and did not have same problem.
Any thoughts and help is appreciated.
Thanks

You're not the only one reporting a strange smell after towing. And they come from many different people towing many different rigs. So far there are a lot of theories but no real conclusion.
