2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee firewall

I'm in the process of installing Blue Ox base plates on our 2013 JGC. I've searched the web and this forum to find a way through the firewall to run the Blue Ox breakaway cable for my Patriot brake system. Unlike our 2012 Wrangler which had a diaphragm, I'm having a difficult time finding a portal. Hoping I don't have to drill.

If anyone has an easy way through, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

I just did an install on my 2014 GC, if you are looking forward at the fire wall from inside the drivers foot well, I had a rubber grommet with wire in it coming thru, it's located about midway between the brake pedal and the gas pedal. The wires come out in the brake booster area, they are down and inboard of the brake booster.

Thank you Dennis.

Evidently they made changes to the 2014 JGC. I've looked top to bottom on the drivers side. I finally found a location on the passenger side. What a Pain !!!

I ran mine through the drivers side kick panel where there was a rubber plug, into the door jam area, and into the engine compartment between the outer and inner fender panels.
