2014 Ford Taurus. 4 Down

I am just getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2014 Taurus. Motorhome magazine says it can be flat towed 4 down and it looks like the manual does also. If it can't please let me know.
Question.I will be pulling it behind a new to me 2006 HR Admiral 30PDD, wheel base of 190" with a V10. The Taurus weighs about 3900-4100#, towing capacity 5000# Do you think that it will tow good behind the RV? Otherwise if all of you give me the thumbs up i will buy it. Thanks in advance, Jim

Motorhome magazine Dingy towing guide for 2014 does say that the Taurus can be towed with one small provision:
Start engine and allow it to run 5
minutes at the beginning of each
day and every 6 hours thereafter.
It also says a maximum of 65 MPH.

You're well within your towing limits with the coach. Don't expect to climb I-70 towards Eisenhower tunnel at 65 MPH but your combination will work.

Do you know if it has a power steering fluid reservoir?

Ford has been touting its electric power steering system on cars but that is prone of failure. Unlike regular rock n pinion costing about $200 for the parts in case of failure, that thing costs $1600 give or take just for the parts. (I think F series trucks and those SUVs sharing the chassis with trucks don't use it, most of all others do.)

We towed a 2014 Ford Taurus for about a year. The one we towed had the keyless start system. To be towed, the dash was always lit which caused the battery to die after a couple of hours being towed. If the Taurus you are looking at has the keyless feature, I would suggest attaching a charge line so that the battery does not die after a couple of hours. Other than that, it towed great!!

Thank you for all the info. Yes the one i am looking at does have the keyless feature. It seems the charge line is the way to go.
