2014 Ford TOAD brake relay switch ?

I assume that the brake relay switch needs to be installed on my 2014 Ford Edge since I will be using my Patriot auxiliary brake system which manually applies the brake. I have searched and found that the Edge needs to be wired as an normally open confiquration but can not find any videos or info on how to wire the relay. There are about 6 wires coming out of the original brake switch. Can someone steer me in the right direction with this. I am usually pretty good at this stuff but just do not have the confidence to start cutting wires before I am sure of what im doing and what color wires go where. Thanks for anyones advice. bk

On many Ford product the brake wire is Purple/White. Check with meter before cutting.

If you are speaking of a relay for the brake lights, so they don't work when the key is off, there is a good video on eTrailer.com.
