2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (4x4) - Toad?

Can a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland be towed by a Motorhome? It is a 4 wheel drive jeep BTW. (This is not a weight question) Are there any reasons why I can't or shouldn't tow it behind a motorhome?

Bill

We've been towing an Overland for 2 years without problems. Matched to a Blue Ox bar and SMI AF One braking system. Remember to always raise it to travel height when hooking up. PM me if you have other questions ...

Thanks guys! I was fairly certain it was okay to tow the JGC but wanted to confirm with people who actually have done it. I just bought a new-to-me coach and the next thing for me to do is to set up a tow bar, etc.

Thanks, Bill

Bill,
check the towing guide to your Jeep....as for what transmission you have..needs to match, or not towable....Chuck

I have towed my 2014 Overland w/Hemi for almost 3 years and before that my 2012. I use a Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain tow bar (I like the additional length and 10,000lb rating) with a RVi2 brake unit. I got the 2014 with the off-road package so it would have 18" wheels as I do not like the ride or wear I got with the 20" wheels I had on the 2012.
This is a great toad and a great trailer tow vehicle. I also use it to tow my 7000lb boat.
