2014 Subaru Forester

Picked up our new Forester manual drive. Getting ready to set it up for towing. Anybody else have one to pass any info we need. We love the car. Live in Phoenix and flew to Denver to buy it,,good deal,,34 MPG on the drive back.

I am going to check out the Subaru Forester as my next toad. I don't see any responses to your post. I assume you have been using it for a while now, so any feedback you can provide?

We have towed ours for years and it is one of the best. No extra measures were required to tow and Suburu is a great car.

We love the car. Have not had it set up yet. Waiting for cooler weather here in Phoenix. Did get a couple of quotes. Not a lot of base plates floating around since it is so new. We got the green color,,it is cool. Was looking at the CR-V but this has additional ground clearance and seems a lot more road worthy.. Will be towing behind our 2011 Fleetwood 32V,,should pull easily up them thar mountains.

Can't speak to the Forester, but we tow a 2012 Impreza. Hardly even know it's back there. Knocks off less than a mile per gallon towing. Great car.

Have a 2001 Forester, with manual and use as a toad. Great car. Like the handling and the ride very much. Try the various Subaru forums on the net for good info. Subaru ok's the manuals for towing but say NO to the automatics. Only way to tow the autos is all 4 wheels OFF the ground. No 2 down and 2 up. You will enjoy the Subi very much.
Good luck and safe travels!

Yes, 5 speed manual. Subies can only be towed with manual transmissions.
