2015 F-150 Super Crew 6.5 with 5.0

Has anyone actually weighed their truck that has the 36 gallon tank?

Does truck accru mileage while towing and is there any need to pull circuit breakers?

Also thinking about installing the rvi battery charger, any issue with installing one of these?

Thanks

I only asked because I had it weighed while at rock quarry and it came in at 5760lb with half tank of gas and no cargo. Only additional weight was 80lb retract tonneau cover and me 200lbs. Even with less 280lbs it is 5480 which seems a bit high for the aluminum body.

Talked to ford as well and they showed my curb weight from factory with installed options and Full Fuel at 4880.

Can the scale be off 5-600 lbs?

I had a Ranger and when I took it to the county dump, after I emptied it, it came in about 500 lbs over Ford's published weight. I would think those scales were pretty close as they charge based upon weight.
I haven't checked the F-150

I'm not sure what to think, guess I need to drive out to the truck stop tomorrow where they have a cat scale.

My 2013 f150 I had weighed around 5700. Ford touts these as being 700lbs lighter than the previous generation. I am thinking the rock quarry may be on conservative side to prevent folks from driving out over weight. Maybe I'm wrong but will definitely post back after going to the cat scale to verify.

I also thought I read last year on here folks were reporting 4800-5k depending on configuration.

Is that a regular cab with a V6?
I believe that weight is correct for a V8 crewcab.
And no , the mileage does not accumulate when flat towing.

Ford shows the v6 super crew heavier than the v8 believe it or not.

I spoke with ford and the lariat v8 4x4 super crew with 6.5 bed has a listed curb weight of 4895. The curb weight is supposed to include all factory installed equipment and liquids(consumables)full fuel, oil , tranny fluid etc....

I'm going to weigh it again tomorrow, seems to be a pretty big discrepancy considering I only had a half tank of gas as well.

I will post the results, I would like to see what others have come up with.

I can add to this now. I have a 2015 F150 Lariat, 4x4 crew cab, 6.5 bed, 3.5 ecoboost and 36 gal tank.
Per Ford my curb weight is 4937# with full fuel and configured as sits.

I just went to landfill yesterday and weighed going in and coming out. M weight coming out was 5505# with just over 1/4 tank of fuel. With that I have a soft tonneau cover and the bracket for my motorcycle lift in the bed. Those two items probably weigh 75#, so if I removed hose I suspect I would be right about 5430#. Then add about 215# to fill the fuel tank up and that would put total weight 5645# = 708# over advertised.

I suspect your numbers are correct as well.
