I checked voltage from coach 13.7-14.0 at truck battery 13.05 amps. Brake uses only mili amps when not braking so there isn't a big draw.
It appears that at 1 hour and 10 minutes of driving the truck goes to sleep and I lose my 12v power outlets in truck and won't start unless I lock via fob and then unlock and start, seems to reset the sleep mode clock.
Any ideas here? Doesn't seem to be a dead battery and explains why all my lights, radio etc... Still worked.
I'd first check and see if any
of the power outlets remain on after the sleep mode kicks in. If they all go off, then contact Ford and see if the ECU can be reprogrammed to change the sleep parameter. If not, you'll have to wire an outlet directly to a battery circuit that doesn't go to sleep.
