2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk actual "toad" weight

Put the coach with the Jeep attached on CAT scales yesterday, first time with the toad attached.

The Jeep shows 4,600 pounds, with 2 bikes on the back on a Thule rack, 3/4 tank of gas. Have a Blue Ox tow bar, so that weight would be split between my rear axle and the Jeep.

Given the coach axle weights vs. previous coach weighings, it appears to be accurate.

Just throwing it out there for reference.........

Regards

The weight of the Jeep has no real bearing on the rear axle of the RV, except half the weight of the tow bar itself. (15 pounds?) The Jeep's weight is an important factor to consider in the GCWR (Gross Combination Weight Rating) which is the maximum total of the RV and jeep's weights added together.

Understand the toad has no impact on the coach weights ( other than maybe 30#s of the tow bar on the receiver and maybe 10#s on the jeep), so just noting that the toad weight appears to be accurate since the axle weights are what I would have expected to see given my previous weighing of just the coach........

Since the Cherokee is a popular toad, I just wanted people to know what appears to me to be an accurate real weight of the Trailhawk so they can ensure they are within thier hitch and GCWR.

Regards
