Do you have a knob on the console that allows you to select the mode for the transmission? IF yes, one of the positions should be Sand/Mud.

I don't understand why you don't show the Service guy the jeep literature.
I would also just go to another dealer....if your dealer is pulling this, not sure I would want them to work on the car at all.

Yes I do have the Sand / Mud. The answer was from Jeep Cooperate at 1-800-763-8422 if I wanted a 4 wheel drive vehicle to trade my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited Active Drive 1 4 wheel drive with the sand and mud knob and buy a 4 wheel drive vehicle. This answer was from Jeep Corporate, the 1800 Jeep Number, Not the dealership. I had the Dealarship in Cape Hatteras North Carolina say it was an all wheel drive vehicle also.
