2015 Wrangler and SMI brake install

I am installing a SMI stay in play into my Jeep. All has been straight forward until i started to install the wire to the brake light switch for the coach notification light. I need to find the wire on the switch that gets power when the brake is pushed. I thought it was the white and tan per a tech at SMI.
I have found that the ignition switch needs to be on for the jeep brake light to function. Anyone have tips for wiring the notification light in a 2015 wrangler?

If you are still searching for this answer, I have it.
The blue wire that runs between the operating unit and the breakaway goes 12v hot when the system operates. I would attach the red wire from the LED to this blue wire and keep the same ground to the black wire. When this is done the LED will illuminate every time the system activates.

On a side note, my experience with those wranglers makes me think if the jeep is set in tow mode, that switch will be active.
If you have not checked for power with the jeep set to tow, That may help you out.

Best of luck and happy trails!

I just completed my SMI Stay In Play Duo install on a 2016 Wrangler, the above info is absolutely correct.

I also had to install the brake-lite relay by Roadmaster, my brake lights would activate when the pedal was depressed even after the jeep was powered off for way more than five minutes. This easy install shuts the brake lights down from the pedal being depressed and used the coaches trailer pig tail (I used the Hopkins ready made cable for my tail lights).
