Towing Ford Edge. Factory 4 down, easy, and works great. Invisibrake system. Go to REMCO online and you can check your rig or any you are looking at.

Which Fiesta ST dolly?

Its a fact that the ST's cannot be flat-towed and I need to decide which dolly to get. Does anyone have actual experience with the Fiesta ST and a dolly?

My main concern is clearance between the front overhang of the Fiesta ST and the dolly ramps. Leaning towards one with surge brakes but clearance is the priority.

Thanks!

I don't know about loading the Fiesta on a dolly, but I can tell you that I have ripped the front nose off of my Focus ST TWICE now when unloading it off of my Master Tow dolly. I made special ramp extenders to load it. The problem occurs when the tires drop into the pan. The car's front end overhangs the pan by quite a bit. When backing off the dolly, the low car valance hooks the pan and sometimes rips the front facia off the car. For this reason we're talking the DW's Prius to FL this winter (how boring!).

What size tires on the Fiesta? I got the upgrade to 16's on mine. Also, if the Pan is too deep on the dolly couldn't you add some boards in the pan to raise the nose of the car up a bit? How much of an overhang did you have? I'm still shopping for a dolly so this topic is very helpful.

KJcschers..if you're asking me, I have a Focus. It has 18" wheels. I am leery of putting boards in the pan. The pan helps contain the tires and also acts as a tire stop as you're loading. It would be all too easy to overshoot the pan with the boards in place. That would result in ripping part of the bottom of the car off, including the intercooler, etc. If you're considering a NON-ST Fiesta, I would strongly recommend you flat-four tow it.
