2016 Guide to Dinghy Towing

Did anyone notice the omission of all Subaru's in the NEW "2016 Guide to Dinghy Towing"? I just received it my April MotorHome magazine. That has to be an error, or...Subaru did not provide info going to print?

Probably an error. Several manual Sub's have been in the guides for years.

FMCA shows the 2016 Subaru list of towables , give me the model and I will look it up.
7 Subarus are shown as towable.
Also 4 Honda standard trans towable.

Honda has been eliminating towing approval in recent years. The only one I know of that is approved now is a Fit with standard transmission.

No Honda automatics are towable 4 down, as they have all gone to CVT transmission. Including the favorite CRV.

Yea, that "comprehensive" towing towbar and brake system guide never mentioned Ready Brake once.
What a crappy publication.

Gee, I wonder if they didn't pay to get included

I agree though, many magazines are not truly objective or neutral when reviewing products of vendors who they rely on for income

I guess that's why forums like this are popular, I know I like my Ready Brake.
