2016 Honda HR-V

Looks like Honda may have a 4 down towable - 2016 HR-V with 6sp manual transmission. Dave

The manual transmission Fit is also towable for 2015 so probably the 2016 is also.

This is accurate, but only in the two wheel drive version according to our Honda dealer. We looked at it carefully but in the end, it is just a tad too small for our needs and we are not ready to part with our '13 CR-V. I had hoped HR-V would be a game changer, but alas to us it is not. The CR-V is just too darn good.

Our '05 Odyssey just went over 100,000 miles and I was kind of looking to go to a new CR-V. But since it's no longer towable I guess not. We'll just keep towing the Ody even though Honda says it's not towable. Saving 1,000#'s won't matter to the Magna anyway.

I wish they'd bring back the manual transmission in the CR-V. Since they didn't, we just bought a 2005 manual transmission CR-V to tow. Yes, it has 167,000 miles on it, but I figure it's good for another 100k, easy. I loved my 2000 CR-V, but somehow we burned up the transmission and front tires while towing it behind our DS. The 2005 is in near-mint condition. They are quite hard to find.

Hopefully going fulltime early late 2017 mid late 2018. Sigh.
