2016 Honda HRV First Look

Here's some info for Honda's new 2016 HRV. The 2wd model should be towable with the available 6spd manual transmission. The AWD is automatic CVT transmission only, so probably not towable.

My first impression is the focus is on the fuel efficient commuter market. They have reduced the weight and it is considered a mini SUV, without useful off road capabilities (not always desired for an rv toad). The perfect urban family car.

Unfortunate to lose the larger CRV with off road capabilities to the toad market, but there are still happy alternatives to the lost CRV.

I wouldn't bet it will be towable 4 down. The 2015 Fit with the std transmission is no longer towable ... or so I'm told.
