2018 Colorado Duramax

So I just bought a 2018 Colorado Duramax would like to tow on my toter behind my winn journey. Can I do this and would I have to unhook battery since not flat towing for the steering

Not sure what a toter is, but the owners manual covers towing four down and on a dolly. If you plan on using a dolly with the steering unlocked I would think you need to disconnect the battery. I was previously towing on an ACME dolly and that required the steering wheel to be unlocked (I was towing a Chevy Malibu at the time).

I am towing the 2018 V6 Z71 Colorado four down. If you haven’t taken possession of the truck yet, you can download the owners manual from the Chevrolet web site.

Please clarify if the truck is 4wd and are you talking about a tow dolly?

Most 4wd are not compatible with dollies. Usually flat towed.

If you mean a trailer then you have no worries.
