I’ve been waiting for the ranger to come out for a year now. We went and looked at it and were disappointed. The back seat in the supercrew doesn’t go down flat and has an uneven floor with very little storage when up, only 18 gallon gas tank, and Not much better fuel mileage.
We bought a similar 18 f-150 made in sept of 18 for less than the ranger. The 3.5 eco boost flies and 36 gallon fuel tank.

I currently have a 2011 F150 we used to tow behind our 36' Monaco Pusher, now we've downsized to a 2903 Newmar and it's got a 5K tow limit, so the F150 isn't an option. Looking at a Canyon as well, it has flat tow instructions in the manual, but requires you to disconnect the battery meaning (there's even an extra warning). That means that using something like a Stay-N-Play Duo for your breaking wouldn't work as there's no power for it. That seems a deal breaker for me.

I use the RVI3 on my Colorado even though the battery is disconnected. Just ran a 12volt plus straight from the battery.
