4Down towing and the endless search.

We have a 2006 Fleetwood Revolution that we have lived in full time since November, 2015. None of the cars we own can be flat towed so we have been selling them off and searching for the right one to buy. We have looked at the different sites that list the toads and we haven't seen anything that we really like. The idea of removing fuse # 23 25 27 & 31 cracks me up and running the car for 5 minutes before towing or 3 minutes after towing. The car we would like to buy is a Mini Cooper and we have seen a few of them being flat towed but have not been able to talk with the folks doing the towing. None of the sites list the Mini as a towable car. So, anyone out there towing a mini, please give us the details...transmission type, model etc. Anything will help. Thanks, Steve

Store : Remco

Shows the Mini Cooper with manuals trans as being flat towable.

Correct. Mini with manual is ok, but not automatic. They are fun to drive with a stick shift.

The OP said none of the sites listed the Mini as towable. I wonder what other sites there are, I have always used Remco.

Thanks everyone for the quick reply! Looks like we have a winner! Also, did not now about the Remco site till yesterday. We used Good Sam and a couple of others. Again, thanks to all of you, Steve
