6 pin tow connector

I have a 2003 Sea Breeze with a 6 pin connector. Normal wiring would have 12v on the center pin, Mine does not although it has all 6 wires connecter. I can trace all 6 to an enclosed wiring harness then from there it disappears within the MH. What I want to know is where this harness comes out at as would like to provide 12v to my toad without running a separate wire from the chassis battery to the connector. Anyone had experience here??

Not sure about your set up , but here's a link to standard wiring for various plug configurations.

Before you spend too much time , I have to ask. Have you checked all the fuses, everywhere on the chassis? Chances are the charge wire has a dedicated fuse .

Did you buy this new or used?

IF. used (Which I suspect) On my Damon Intruder there are both 4 and 6 pin tow light connectors.. Why both?

Well, I tow a 2001 Dodge Neon with a Remco LP-1

The six pins are as follows
Ground, Tail, Right and left turn (Common with flat 4)
Power for the LP-1 Pump
Sense lead for the LP-1 pressure sensor

In the cockpit is a box, it has a switch, and a light, with engine running if you turn on the switch an alarm will sound. Box does not seem to do anything other than alarm when you turn on the switch.. LP-1 Control box,, May have been removed by prior owner if he traded up.

The connector on my Beaver didn't have 12V either so I added two conductors and zip-tied them to the outside of the coiled "umbilical cord". One problem with using the conductors already in the cable is that they probably aren't sized large enough to do any "serious" charging of the toad's battery without suffering voltage drop. Most people on these forums don't understand that, despite the fact that the voltage on a pin may read 12V when no current is being drawn, it is quite likely that the actual voltage will drop when current is flowing because of a relatively long current path through thin wires.
