My Journey has 6 wire connector..has separate turn signal lights and brake lights. Toad has 4 wire connector (I used the add-a-bulb set from Blue Ox) and does not have separate turn signals. This set up worked fine with my old 1997 Adventurer.

I tried to wire the thing but all I can get to work correctly are the tailights. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I had the same problem when my '96 Monaco was wired to pull my F150 (Blue Ox extra bulb). The RV dealer had a "converter" that wires in line to make everything work correctly. It must be a common problem, as there is a "fix" available.

Buy the 6 wire to 4 wire adapter. It solves the problem nicely. Most auto parts stores have them for less $$ than RV shops.
