Any ideas as to where I can get a good price on a baseplate to matchup with my Roadmaster All-Terrain Sterling towbar?

eBay is a good place to start. I found my Roadmaster 1428's for my 07 Wrangler there for $175.00. They were perfect. All I did was buy new nuts and bolts and give the brackets a shot of Paint.

Dirk's suggestion, as well as Rick's appear to be the best...unless you can build your own.

I was given a used Roadmaster "Stowmaster" towbar and cover but couldn't use the mounts that were specified for my '96 Grand Cherokee as it has custom bumpers. My only choice was to fabricate new mounts. I looked at the pictures of the recommended brackets but they wouldn't work.

I ended up welding some 3/8" thick steel plate and 1/4" thick steel angle and flat bar to a few locations and then used all new 1/2" grade 8 CAT hardware. I have to post some pics but it worked perfectly on our recent vacation.
