ACME EZE tow dolly tires

Anyone know the exact tire size for the 12 inch radials for the EZE tow dolly? The website lists it at 145R12 but no aspect ratio. Anyone know if they're available at Amazon? Acme wants $130 each plus $40 each to ship, ouch!

Thanks

Chuck

I have to ask, I towed with my Acme for over 2 years and didn't see any wear. I will look at my spare if I get down to the RV tomorrow.
I also pretty shure they were bias ply. I will look when I get a chance.

Acme uses the Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E. I just picked up a set from the factory for $50 including stems and balancing beads. That is a tire only no wheel. Unfortunately their shipping cost is high. Etrailer also carries those tires. Pay attention when you purchase that you get the load range E version, not a C or D.

I got mine here, just make sure to check the load range E box when you order. Tires are always a good date code and come quickly. Once I receive them, I swap the valve stem and add balance beads so I can use my TPMS sensors on the wheels. I have one set on the dolly with several thousand miles and a second new set in the basement as spares.

I just purchased the ST145R12 / 10ply tires from Walmart for $37.97 each with free mounting. Went with the Carlisle brand since I was having the Kenda tire wear weird. I hate dealing with Walmart but the online ordering and in store installation went smooth.

From what I have been reading, WalMart is setting up to compete with Amazon for online sales.

The 12 inch are radial tires and are narrower than the 10 inch bias ply originals. I just bought a set of three from e-trailer. They were $135 but shipping was free. The wheels are nice looking aluminum. You will need new longer lug nuts as the holes are too small to accept an impact socket. Received them in 4 days. I have two old 10 in tires, one brand new, if any one needs them. Click image for larger version
