Here are some photos. Guess I should have picked a better contrast for background but you get the idea.

thank you, I've been using magnetic lights, because I have a larger car and didn't feel like the fender lights would show up well, was interested in trying to hook up both fender and magnetic lights.

They also have the magnetic lights that are wireless. Rather than run wires to them you simply plug in a transmitter and attach to the back of the RV. Not sure if you have seen these. It still requires the four prong plug though.

I wired my car lights to the RV using a diode kit. It works very well.

I just order this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ann-851009
and planning on running the tow dolly lights and some wireless lights at the same time.

I bought this on Amazon for $12, available at most hitch sites also, 7 pins to two 4's or a four and five.

I actually looked for that with two fours but couldn't find it. The plug I did make cost less than $5 since I had the 7 pin and one new connector. Only needed the second connector to make it up.

Yeah, you did a nice job on that.

For anyone interested, the 5 pin plug accepts a four pin flat plug with no wiring changes needed .
