Advice for Flat towing 2013 Jeep Wrangler
We just purchased a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon to flat tow behind our Allegro Open Road. Just looking for some advice and opinions on best coach mounted tow bars and baseplates. Thanks.

Have 2012 Wrangler attached using Roadmaster Falcon 2 All Terrain. Easy hook up and disconnect. Use Roadmaster based on advice from old timers who tow. Have seen several blue ox tow bar but have no knowledge about the product

Hi Leslie and Tracy,
I use a RoadMaster to tow my Saturn Aura, and I'm happy with it. I think if I changed I would go to Blue OX though. I you don't already have a break system, check out SMI-Air Force One. The easiest system I have ever used IMO!

Another vote for the RoadMaster towbars as well as their BrakeMaster unit.

FINE, if everyone is going to be like that, I'm happy with our Blue OX setup.
That should help make things clear as mud.
In all honesty: I don't think you can go wrong with any top makers.
If your going to do any trail riding, might want to look at Currie's base plate.

blueox adventa ,brake buddy and separate lights mounted in the tail light housing
no electrical connection to the jeep so warranty (Chrysler fiat) can NOT blame any electrical gremlens on the hook up . you will find your clock on a jeep loses about a minute a week i explained to dealer a 50 dollar after market radio would keep correct time this is the only complaint i have on my wrangler toad
safe travels

If you are going to put an aftermarket off-road bumper on it, you don't need an expensive baseplate. Nor do you want one due to reduced ground clearance.
Here's my Blue Ox brackets bolted through aftermarket bumper on my TJ Rubicon.

Flat tow jeep wrangler
I use a blue ox tow bar and a brake buddy system. Made several trips this summer with no issues and it only takes me 10 minutes to hook up and disconnect. - LOVE IT!

So is the 2013 Wrangler the same as the '12, looks like it. So I would use a BX1126 Blue Ox Base Plate?
