Well doc says my riding days are over. I'm kinda new to rv world but up til now was pulling a small enclosed trailer with my Harley inside behind my 2000 Monaco LaPalma 34'.
Wife and I considered a few different Toads but not for long once we drove a Jeep Wrangler. This thing is fun to drive and reminiscent of our Harley except it's a car.
We Made a great deal on a 2000 Wrangler Sahara and I ordered the Demco tow bar and base plate along with a Ready Brake and breakaway.I opted for added bulb type of tail light setup which I installed last night(amazingly easy).
The Demco stuff came yesterday and I just pulled the base plate out of the box today, can't believe how simple the base plate and it's installation is. Still waiting for the Ready Brakke.
I just can't wait to get it all set up and go somewhere.
Any tip or tricks I should be aware of or anything to watch for unique to this setup?

sounds like you got it all covered pretty well.

Only other thing is the steering wheel lock. The jeep does have one, it engages when the wheel is turned about 180 degrees. Here's a thread I did when I disabled the steering lock in my 2000 wrangler sahara disable steering lock?
