Anti theft ideas for trailer components

I have seen a number of threads on how to prevent theft of a trailer. However, I am concerned about losing components off my trailer:
-Ramps lock in with 1/2" pins. I have not been able to find locking pins greater than 6" long. The need to be about 6 1/2" between connectors.
-Loading jack lock: I can probably find a locking pin, not sure if that is a high theft item and you would have to lift the trailer to get it out.
-Most concerned about removable fenders. They come off in about 15 seconds and one of them holds my license plate. I know going to (much less convenient) hex head bolt is a good first step.
-The tongue coupler is a quick connect (very nice) but only has a quarter inch pin holding it. Maybe I can drill out to 1/2 inch.

Anyone who wants to respond by telling me I am stupid for buying such an unsecure trailer, go ahead (let's get that out of the way first). Hopefully some will have some ideas or experiences to help me.

Rather than enlarge the holes to use larger, longer pins, why not drill holes through the ramps, fenders, other removable parts and string a hardened cable or chain through the parts? Nothing is theft proof, but you'd be making someone else's property easier to steal than yours.

You might want to try something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-52...ackle+padlocks

The shackle opens to a little over 6"

Here's another one:
http://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-52...ackle+padlocks

This one has a 14" vinyl covered cable:

There are several other versions also available on Amazon.

Thanks hiker dogs. I think the long padlocks might be just the answer for the ramps.

Beautiful trailer. I guess I find it disappointing that someone would actually steal parts off of the trailer. I had thought of going that route in the future too.

I would try etrailer link below. They sell many styles on locking devises. Some of them can be keyed alike so you don't end up looking like a high school janitor.

I would recommend calling them and explaining your needs they seem pretty good at figuring things out

Trailer Hitches & Vehicle Accessories (800)298-8924

Just a note I have 3 ea 1/2 in receiver locks and 2 hitch locks 1/4 in all keyed alike

Thanks, I was looking for a way to keep trailer and car less than 5000lb. Got a great deal from Guthrie trailer in Waco tx.
