Anyone familiar with the ReadyBrute™ Elite RV Tow Bar

We're getting ready to buy a new car that can be towed 4 wheels down (Ford Edge, Chevy Equinox or Honda CRV). We own a 40' diesel Monaco Diplomat. We've been using a tow dolly so will now need to purchase a tow bar & supplemental braking system. In doing some research we came across the Ready Brute Elite RV Tow Bar which incorporates the braking system with the tow bar. Wondering if anyone of you are using this & what is your opinion. Any comments would be appreciated.

Lots of posts about the ReadyBrute, Ready Brake, etc. Search the forum for more than you ever wanted to know! We just bought one but haven't road-tested it yet. It seems like the most 'bang for the buck' when shopping for a tow bar and supplemental brake.

Thanks will do that. I had done some searching, but hadn't seen it. Will look again. Hope it works out for you.

Here's one that's currently running. Try doing a search on just "Ready Brake".

Bucks spent for bang received and KISS concepts will both have you arriving at this system.

I bought one over a year ago based primarily on the feedback from this forum. Couldn't be more pleased.

thanks for your input. based on everyone's comments, we're pretty much convinced that's what we're buying. We like "simple".
