Motor home magazine’s list and Fords website don’t even list the 2003 2wd pickup let alone say yes or no. Manual transmission in the Ford V6 F150 in 2003 is the same one used in the Ranger and Mazda B series which are listed and shown as a yes with manual transmission. So…common sense suggests hook up and go but hearing from someone who has flat towed one would be great. I did find a link on a F150 form that said they knew someone who had flat towed a 150 stick for thousands of miles without any problem. But it was someone talking about someone else.

The Ford Towing Guide does not list it as towable.

Yea, I know its not on that list (that’s why I originally said that) but other years with same transmission are. Ford does some odd things sometimes. For instance on their towable list the 150 pickup with standard transmission comes and goes off the lists as the years pass. And they all have the same transmission, rear ends, engines, frame, body style etc. The Remco site says a 2003 F150 V6 5-speed transmission is towable with no modifications so that’s good enough for me.
