Anyone have a chevrolet colorado as a toad

Thinking of getting a low mileage used or a new colorado to pull behind my E450 class C. Anyone have any experience with one.

I would want a 4 wheel drive because sometimes the drive to my home gets very hard to make with lots of rain.

It looks like I would not save a whole lot by going slightly used over new.

There is a long thread about using the 2015 and newer Colorado/Canyon under Toads and MH Towing. There are probably threads about older Colorado's on here, do a search.

You would HAVE to get a 4x4 or buy a driveshaft disconnect to tow it. You will also be pushing the limits of your towing ability. The Colorado's weigh in at almost 5K.

Yes, the 4x4 has a 2-speed transfercase that will shift to neutral for flat-towing.

Mine comes in at 4140lbs.

Mega thread here: Colorado/Canyon

Just set mine up and it tows great. Setting up is a little more complicated than some, but very do-able nonetheless.
