Anyone Towing a '13 Jeep GC Limited?
Thinking about buying a '13 Jeep GC Limited. Looks like a battery disconnect is needed. Anyone know for sure?

I don't see why there would be. There's not steering wheel lock, so you don't need to leave the key in, thus no battery run-down.

I have towed a 2012 and a 2014 GC. Neither has a steering wheel lock and the 2013 does not either. Do not need a battery disconnect or any other special equipment. You DO need to have the correct transfer case to be flat towable.

I know about the transfer case but in looking on the Roadmaster website, it says that a battery disconnect is needed and I don't know why. Just curious as to what others have to say.

Where on the Roadmaster website did you see that a battery disconnect was required? A tow bar doesn't care about the battery and a brake system needs the battery to operate so I am confused too.

If you go to this page Roadmaster Inc. - Tow Bars, Braking Systems & RV Accessories and look at the vehicle specific chart, on page 9 you will find the info about a '13 Jeep needing a battery disconnect.
Some tow brakes need the toad battery to operate and some do not. Those that are operated by coach air do not need a battery.

I see the note. Interesting that the 2013 is separate from the other years and I have no idea why. Aside from that I strongly suggest looking for a 2014 GC as the 8 speed transmission is far superior to the 6 speed that the 2013 has.
