gauto:

What a great winter ride that would make.

I have a '65 Chevy II sedan in similar condition. Probably the smart move for me would be to tow the "65.

Be happy to send a picture of my '60 but speaking of morons I have no idea how to post up.

Send instructions.

Heading out to work on the RV. Will send pics this evening.

I tow a 65-74 VW beetle it is built from junk parts left when I sold my buggy & rail business in 08. It Has a 3" body lift,1835cc eng. & 4.34 RP. It has a baja kit and painted bright red. I have towed it about 20k mi in the last 3 years and planning another 4-5 next month. The big problem is the foreign tourists that want to look at it when parked in the Nat. Park lots.

We used to haul this around a few times a year in an enclosed trailer. I started building the car in 1990 and finished it in 1995. We showed it for eleven years. 1940 Chevrolet coupe.

But we sold it a few years ago and bought a newer coach and ordered a new trailer to haul these around.

When the sand toys are not in the trailer being drug around these are in the trailer.

jroethke: looks loke an Opel?

My current toad is a 71 GMC short bed pickup with Remco driveshaft disconnect, custom built Roadmaster baseplate, Demco alluminum tow bar and US Gear unified tow brake. Hope to move all this to one of my 56 wagons soon but am torn between having the extra cargo space in the truck for our bicycles versus having extra passenger capacity of the wagon.

jroethke,
Yup......it's an Opel GT. Neat little cars that were once referred to as a 'Poor man's Corvette'.
And it is truly a "Classic".

Well since it's not manufactured anymore I guess our 05 pt Cruiser Convertible is considered a Classic now.
