I'm considering a 2001 Audi TT roadster as a possible towed vehicle for our motorhome (currently towing a 2000 Saturn SL2). According to Remco, it's towable as-is (manual transmission, no quattro) but I was wondering if anyone here has done it and if so where did you get a base plate for it or did you have it custom made?

Maybe a little late but we tow a 08 Eos with an Audi engine and trans. Your right about Remco. They told us that all VW products ever made are flat towable. Manual trans. Call Blue ox for a baseplate. They could make you one.
