ScoobyDoo and MRUSA14, your points do makes sense.

As I said in another thread today, my cognition is really getting bad as I get older. It kind of made sense to me at the time I read that a tow bar is engineered to be an apparatus used for towing and not for pushing but when you really think about it, it really is NOT logical at all.

No matter, I think it actually DOES make sense to avoid backing if at all possible.
