Best "toad" for 6 people?

I believe Arcadia seats 6 or 7 depending on second row setup not 8. I am surprised I don't see more current model Dodge Durango's being towed as they can be towed four down ( with the hemi engine and 2 speed transfer case) and seating for 6 or 7.

Park a Gr.Caravan next to a Durango or Commander...those vans aren't all that small. Toyota's minivans are even longer. Even a Journey is longer than a Grand Cherokee, despite being perceived as smaller being smaller. My vote goes for the Jeep.

We tow an 08 Chrysler Aspen on our Bounder 300 hp pusher and not a problem. 5000 lb toad. Drops us less than 1 mpg

Your belief may be based on the fact you're saying it's an "Arcadia" - it's an Acadia. Bring 6 of your friends along next time you're in town...we'll all go for a ride.

If you're not looking at recent year models, I'd suggest an early Honda Odyssey. It seated six in comfort, and seven if you weren't going too far.

We owned a '95 model, before we started RVing and it would have been ideal as a toad. Our current minivan (an '03 Kia Sedona) is too heavy at 4800 pounds. I think the later model Odysseys may be on the heavier side also.
