Well I have to say that yours is not showing now and am unsure why? I am questioning whether I actually saw it? Very strange cause I do not think I would have responded
To your post if I didn't ? I gather you can't see any signatures, but I can and do see them on the app. Cannot remember doing anything special to do so, maybe a moderator could help.

Sorry

Something strange just happened. Your and my signature did not show right away but I went back a couple of pages on the thread and then forward again, there they were?
Glitch in program? I did see yours again.

Not so sorry but surprised!

That being said, this is all new to us and time will tell if this will in fact be a good choice. Also "affordable" is a wide target depending on your finances. Longevity and reliability is very important to us and some Jeesp have had less than stellar performance,. With this in mind we are also purchasing the Chrysler lifetime bumper to bumper extended warranty. When we learned about this warranty it was a no brainier for us, especially that this is a brand new model year. We have always kept our cars for more than 10 years.

Other great choices in this segment were Chevy Equinox and Honda CRV. These were our other top choices.

Stuart & Leslie
If you get a Cherokee, you need to get the Active Drive II 4x4 system. That is the one with the neutral mode that allows 4 down towing. FWD and the other 4x4 systems don't allow it.

We also have a 03 Suzuki XL-7 which is a longer wheel base,7 passenger version of GM Tracker and Suzuki Vatera.

We have towed it over 150,000 miles plus driven it over 95,000 miles. 2 batteries, a set of front brakes and front wheel bearings and still runs like a top. We put in our un mounted 22.5" spare in back. Built like a tank.

Great tow.

Jeep Liberty has been great. I've not pulled anything else except a boat, but it's hard to tell it's back there. The diesel engine makes it a little heavier than other smaller cars/suvs, but like I said I can't tell it's back there.

The Saturn Vue and now it's offspring the Chevy Captiva have a strong following for being used as a towed vehicle.
