I have a hitch on my toad also. For the most part I can put my bike in the CRV to go to events but if I am going with a friend I can take the hitch of the MH and put it on the CRV.

Easyrider: You are correct. We actually have both, a hitch on the MH attached to the split receiver, and a hitch on the Wrangler toad. Both have bike racks on them. Depends on the destination, of course, but usually the road bikes ride on on the MH rack, and the MTBs are on the Wrangler's bike rack. Yea, you still need to swap bikes around some times, but no system is perfect! \ken

I stow the blue ox when the toad is not attached using a couple of velcro straps (from REI) holding the blue ox against the bike rack. In our case we rarely drive the MH far without the toad. The blue ox will stow properly with the bike rack on but you would have to remove the bike rack, stow/unstow the blue ox then put the rack back on. Since my bikes are usually on the rack it's more of a pain than I care to bother with.
