Blowing fuse

We seem to be blowing the fuse on the motorhome brake light circuit each time we disconnect the power cord between the two vehicles.

Any thoughts?

Could our charge line be an issue?

Is someone in the coach with their foot on the brake during the disconnect ?
Was the charge line added or factory wired in ?
Factory seven connector trailer/toad connector or an add on ?

I would look at all the wire connections both the cable and the connector on the coach. Something is getting shorted when you disconnect or connect to blow a fuse like you described.I suspect a broken wire on one of the ends.

My thoughts too. I do know that I unhooked the Jeep before I unplugged the MH.

I think I will hook them up, unplug the Jeep to see if that causes it or it happens when the MH gets unplugged.

Might be a couple of stray wires loose in one of the connectors and when you move it they make contact inside. Take them apart and inspect.
