Blue Ox Aventa II tow bar

I have Blu Ox Tow Bar BX7335.
Will this type fit the new Blue Ox base plate Attachment Assembly brackets? I will be installing a Base Plate on my Saturn Vue XR and when I looked at the BX3332 Base Plate Attachment Assembly brackets it comes with they look rounded.

If anyone has had a similar experience out there I would appreciate your reply.

Thank you in advance

I would simply call Blue OX.. However that said. They do indeed appear rounded

I think they will fit though. But call 402-385-3051 if you are not sure.

It should work just fine.

I just ordered a base plate for a 2011 Grand Cherokee which uses the same rounded looking removable extensions. I contacted Blue Ox since the base plate listed that it wasn't compatable with certain tow bars of theirs. They told me the Aventta II was completely compatable.

I called Blue Ox they said the same thing.
They are compatible. The distributor also said the same.

Thank you both for your replies.

I will post the results in a few weeks.

Got the base plate and the wiring kit and had it installed by a custom shop. Done in 7 hours everything fit great. They did not use the bulb sockets that came with the wiring kit; it would have destroyed the light housing. But they hooked right into the existing wiring. I was a little worried about tapping into the existing wiring but the owner reassured me that Saturn was ok with the way he did it. I been testing it for 3 days driving a few hours into the night, Everything is good.
My VUE follows like champ.

We bought a 94 Tracker that was used as a toad and had no idea if the base plate would work with what. Bought an Aventa II from Craigslist and after simply connecting them, it will work fine.

I assume that there was some kind of standard with hitches and base plates but I don't know for sure. Some of the newer designs look more specialized or maybe it is just me.

The big factor seems to be if the drop from the receiver to the base plate should be 4" or less. So if it is not we will have to get a drop receiver to compensate.

i had to take my drop receiver off, it was too low. I now have a 2 1/2 inch drop.

I had to drive home before taking the drop receiver off, making it too low. I did not like the feeling, besides not being safe. Now with the 2 1/2 inch drop it's very smooth.
Good luck
