Blue Ox Base Plate

I installed a Blue Ox Base Plate on my new Subaru Forester today, took me about 5 hours to do by myself which included wiring the tail light plug that mounts on the Base Plate and also mounting a Break Away Switch. Overall, not too hard a job and best of all, the Fascia fit around the base plate like a glove.....no trimming required at all! I've got the lights wired, the brake box set up and ready to tow. I'm a happy camper!

I've been using this Roadmaster Even Brake box for about 5 years after the pump motor burned out on my 'ole Brake Buddy Classic. Works fine and has been reliable so I'll use it for a while longer. The Tow Shield.....now that would be nice to have!
