We were in Pender, NE at the Blue Ox factory / RV park overnight ...

The RV park is still free ...

There is now a $25 charge for tow bar tune-ups ... this afternoon the towbar worked just like it did when it was new .

I think tune-ups at the factory used to be free

A tow bar tune up at a rally used to be free also, but is now $25 also.

Thanks much for the report. Did you need reservations for either the campground or tune up?

Rick

The campground has only a limited number of sites, like 10-20 (Forget which) but this time of year,, I do not think reservations are needed.

When I got there (Thanksgiving 2006) the only people in the campground were my wife and I, on Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun, on Monday a technician visited my rig then we moved to the shop.

One occasional downside of that CG is the stockyards.. If they are downwind, no problem.. IF they are UPWIND (The wind sometimes blows the wrong way) Well.... I grew up on a swine/dairy farm so it did not bother me.. Wife, city girl that she is, was bothered big time.
