DW had a dolly blowout on her first solo trip, the Blue Sky dispatcher erroneously told her the roadside assistance wasn't covered.

When I questioned this, a manager said the dispatcher was in error, directed me to file the claim. I did so online, precisely following their instructions and scanning the documents as instructed.

Below is the note I just sent back to Mr. Bill Davidson, at Blue Sky. In terms of direct involvement, I've spent more than three hours of my time; but, since I've been multitasking, I attributed just one to this slow-moving train wreck.

I don't know if this kind of disorganization and confusion is typical of Blue Sky; take it as part of the big picture, when selecting a Roadside Assistance provider.

Bill,

After the fourth wrong number, third phone tree, I passed $100 in billable hours to collect a $45 claim with no end in sight. The most recent direction I was handed off toward was a phone tree at 888 684-9327.

Let's forget about the whole thing.

Thanks for your assistance, anyway.

Andy

A quick note in the interest of fairness and full disclosure: 'Got a note back one hour later saying that they wouldn't let me go so easily, that Mr. Davidson will foward my claim package to the correct office.

Sounds like they have one competent and customer-oriented employee. Too bad there aren't more of them.

Makes me wonder if your "CC: IRV2 Forums" got their attention.

Please keep us posted.

Good Luck,
Jon

Blue Sky sent the check, dated 12/8/11.

I'd like to hear from someone who navigates the "normal" claims process, see how they fare without intervention from mgt.
